Artist statement:

Lølands is an interdisciplinary artist working across various mediums and materials. His main focus the recent years has been exploring the sculptural potential within the textile and low value materials such as foil, cardboard, synthetic fibers a.s.o.
By combining found materials with ready mades and textiles with various qualities and purposes he is creating sculptural works in dialog with the current spacial situation, and often in relation to the body and the human scale as such.
The inherent qualities, value and function in his chosen materials 
are being challenged in his improvising and almost archaeological methods.
