Artist statement:

Åsne Eldøy (1987, Norway) is a Bergen based artist. Works visually with photography, publications and installation. Through the practice of looking, reading and assembling. Eldøy’s projects revolve around themes such as belonging and transformation, like the relationship between humans and nature. Her approach is often through specific landscapes or places, urban theory and historical happenings. Eldøy was educated from the Bergen Art Academy with a bachelor’s in Photography and master’s degree in Fine Arts. Holds a background in photojournalism and art history.
